『GUNDAM VS HELLO KITTY -Spring- Fan Festival』

Both Sotsutsu Co., Ltd and Sanrio Co., Ltd. announced that a fan festival for the fans supporting the "Gundam vs Hello Kitty" Showdown Project is taking place at the Sanrio Puroland on March 22nd, 2020.

A total of 1000 people (Top 500 ranking individuals who collected points for each of the character) are invited to the Sanrio Puroland for FREE; an event to review the epic confrontation between the two characters and their respective achievements.

Toru Furuya (古⾕徹) will appear as a special guest to excite the the Festival while looking back at the Gundam vs Hello Kitty Project. The battle to "Collecting the Points" for attending the festival will continue until the end of December 2019.

Each of their pledges were decided as a result of a twitter contest, asking to fill in the blank for "If Gundam or Kitty wins, I will do ◯◯◯◯". The victor's commitment will be announced in mid-January 2020.

GUNDAM VS HELLO KITTY -Project-

This is a project where fans who support each character can participate in the battle using LINE. After registering your “Gundam Kitty LINE Official Account” as a friend, you can choose Gundam or Kitty and participate in each stage to support the selected character. By accumulating points on LINE and becoing a top ranking leader, you can also get Special Prizes. The event will also carry out campaigns throughout each stage to receives a gift. Each battle stage will be held until the end of December 2019.

Tissues from Gundam vs Hello Kitty Project are released in two types: “Soft Pack Tissue” and “Smart Tissue”. “Soft Pack Tissue” comes in two types of designs, Gundam version and Hello Kitty version respectively. “Smart Tissue” has a Gundam version and a Hello Kitty version with 3 different designs, so you can enjoy the variety of products. At this battle stage, the victor is determined by the total number of project points that can be accumulated with the "Gundam Kitty LINE Official Account" from the QR code attached to the product.

This is a collaboration with LOVELESS, a select shop that expresses its own worldview with exclusive/creative brands domestically and overseas. There will be specially illustrated items that are created for this project, and items with Gundam and Hello Kitty printed in a monotone style. Additionally, t-shirts and parkas, caps and tote bags are being planned. You can enjoy the world view of LOVELSS through Gundam vs Hello Kitty fashion. This battle stage will be later announced via the project's official twitter account.

A hands-on puzzle solving event that started on July 18th (Thursday) in collaboration with Gundam and Hello Kitty will continue until the end of December 2019! The front door of Tokyo Mystery Circus is currently being decorated with Gundam vs Hello Kitty design.
